I’ve been hit by a Ransomware. Can I restore my files somehow?

Sudenly, my PC is infected by ransomware and showing a message to pay bitcoins or my data will be deleted permanently after 24 hours. Please help.

I am unable to access any of my important documents on the desktop as a message about ransomware keeps popping up. Please assist me with this issue.
