As usual, the panic is just setting in now. I know it needs to be done, but the technical tests really throw me. I panic and go blank. Its one thing to sit at your desk and bang out a few queries, stored procedures and eff around. If i do forget something, simple, look at what i did last week, or pop open Books Onlne for a second..say to yourself “self, you are such an idiot..you’ve done that 100 times you plonker..how could you forget”
But its another to sit with a pen and paper and do this stuff knowing the answers you give dicate if you get the job or not.
The last interview i did..blanked and couldn’t even remember how to write a conncetion string..how dang embarrassing was that?? (very )
WHy can’t I win the lotto? Would be so much easier.
