Join Fedora 7 to SBS 2003 Network

hey

Ok my question of the day is.. Im trying to join a Fedora 7 box to a network handled by a SBS 2003 SP1 server. currently im having some issues getting the box to correctly join the domain ( i keep getting a cannot join as standalone msg from the f7 box). Question is does SBS2003 SP1 allow linux to join the domain? and also if anyone might have an idea of what could be going wrong with this that would be great.
