Just what am i doing wrong…?

I have one pc (512ram, 550cpu, 1nic, 30gig) to run win2k adv. server on…been desperately trying and failing to configure it as my PDC for my one server roughly 35 client network…what is , where can i find the step by step process of configuring a win2k adv. server on this box as my PDC?…just what am i doing wrong…yes i am new, very new to this….nonetheless thank you for your time, help and guidance….
