LAN Network “Hacking” Project

I am in a high school class where we divided into two teams and created two separate networks, the objective: To shutdown the other teams network (or render their computers unusable). Anything goes.

Ive tried remote shutdown from cmd but everyone’s got a firewall up so that didn’t get me anywhere. Ive tried to connect to the other computers through tellnet but the ports that need to be open on the target were closed.

I have also ip scanned them for open ports and found some, but i dont know what to do with them or how to send commands through them.

Any suggestions?

I am relatively new to networking stuff so no criticism please.
