lan routing in win2k3

hi ,

i have a problem that i have configure win2k3 as a lan router but the router drops packets at
regular interval of time causes net browsing very slow. it uses igmp protocol
is there any benefit for using the rip protocol

how can i troubleshoot my problem ?
