Laptop cannot share resources to Desktop (Both are XP Pro)

when i type \\(desktopname) on start->run on the laptop i can access the shared files/printers of the desktop, however if i do this on the desktop \\(laptopname) it saids that “(laptopname) is not accessible. you might not have permision to use this network resource etc.”)

My main problem was, i cant add the printer using the desktop if the server is the laptop. And came to the testing i mentioned earlier.

But if the server is the desktop, i added the printer with no prob using the laptop.
