Laptop connections

The laptop is configured correctly to connect NT4 Network as well as the internet. My problem is that i have to remove & reconfigure each time for each different connection. It appears that the protocol stack is over written each time preventing connection to both different networks simultaneously. I’m using TCP/IP. I have also assigned NetBeui to the local network to see if this made a difference which it didn’t. Any suggestions?
