laptop Keyboard and Mouse Disabled

I have installed a logitec wireless mouse and keyboard onto my laptop, and now the laptop’s mouse and keyboard do not work. I am able to connect to the PC using VNC to troubleshoot, but I have been unable to get the local mouse and keyboard to work on it. The logitec stuff does not work either.

Machine – Gateway Solo 5300 P3
OS – Windows 2000 Pro SP4

Any help would be appreciated.
