I am currently looking to find a database that contains the manufacturer’s numbers for LCD monitors used in Laptops. These Laptops are as old as the Compaq Armadas and as new as the HP pavilions. I am looking for a database that will allow me to obtain Manufacturer’s numbers by using either model numbers or at least the part number. By part number I mean the one that the companies, like HP or IBM, assign the monitors for their own reference (they usually look like xxxxxx-xxx, all numbers, where as manufacturers numbers can look like this ‘LTN154X1-L02’ or this ‘LP154W01(TL)(A2)’ or something similar). I have been unable to find such a database but I was hoping that someone else may no of one (or have one in their possession if it is not online). Thank you for your time.
