Laserjet 5Si on 2003 server

We just updated our print server to 2003, was 2000. One of the network printers doesn’t work correctly. The LaserJet 5Si MX will not print from tray 3 (11×17) using the stock driver. I tried both PCL and PS drivers. I checked both HP and Microsoft update and there are no newer versions.

I worked around it by installing the port on the user’s XP pc and using XP’s stock driver, then sharing THAT printer so that others in the department could print.

I’m willing to live with that, since that printer is slated for replacement in the coming months, but I was just curious if someone else had run into the same problem.
