lexmark Z35

Dear Team

My computer will not detect my usb lexmark z35 printer. I am running windows 2000 and I recently installed a usb 2.0 pci adapter which according to the computer is working fine. I don’t have another usb device to confirm this. I tried connecting the printer to a different machine and it works fine.

Please help!
