Limited # of Search Drives under NT

I have NT 4.0 Dual boot machine. When going into DOS I can ‘create’ additional search drives. However, under NT it seems as though I am limited to 6 search drives. When I try to create an additional drive it acts as thought it worked yet when I issue a ‘map’ I still only see 6 search drives.

I believe its something similar to a lastdrive= statement in config.sys, but I am currently stumped as to what I don’t have configured correctly.
