Linking 2 sites via dedicated T1

I have 2 sites each with a Win 2003 server (same subnet, smae domain name) that need to connect via a dedicated point to point T1.

Do I need to change one of the subnets?

Will AC automatically sync when the 2 servers see each other?

All I need is for one site to access a database from the other site.
