Linksys BER411 Cable/DSL Router

Every now and than my Linksys router loses the connection to the internet. I have to release / renew the IP within the web interface and it starts working again. Does anyone know why this happens and how to stop it from doing this. I am currentlyrunning the newest version of firmware and the problem still exists. It loses the connection intermittantly.
