Linksys switch internet issue

Needed to expand network.
Installed cable from Linksys WRT54G router to patch panel, then to Linksys EXZ55W switch. From there using cables to go from switch back to patch panel and that goes out to the workstations. Can only see internal network, have no internet access over EXZ55W. Tried LAN and Uplink ports, no luck.
