Linksys WAP54G thru Netgear Prosafe VPN Firewall router

I have searched here for awhile now and I am still unclear as to how to fix this.
We have two Linksys WAP54G ap’s on the network. Both have assigned address’s. I cannot access them using the web interface. When I open up the router interface and it does not list them as attached devices. The software cd see’s them, but I can not ping them nor open them up. They do function because we are able to use the wireless with them.
We have a Netgear 24 port ethernet switch going to a Netgear Prosafe VPN Firewall router.
I can access the router web interface just fine. I am not always in a position to use the cd to access them. What am I doing wrong?
