Linksys WRT300N

I am having a problem with my WRT300N constantly dropping my wired connection. My wireless connections, of which I have 2, are working fine. I have tried lowering the MTU with no effect. When I replace the WRT300N with my old WRT54GS everyting, wired and wireless, work great. Any suggestions for correcting this problem would be greatly appriciated.
