Linux DHCPD Not releasing IP Addresses Quickly enough.

Hi all…
I’m Running DHCPD With multiple (Public) scopes and subnets. Due to recent expansion in the company, we are beginning to run out of IP Addresses that our DHCP Server can give to clients.

It appears that DHCPD is ‘holding’ the IP addresses that are no longer in use for a period of time… This is fine, but when a new device is added to the network, it will not get an IP address. DHCPD Indicates that there are more than enough IP addresses free…

Any help on the issue would be greatly appreciated, P.S. The scope’s can’t be ‘expanded’ we are dealing with public IP addresses.
