Ok folks, here goes:
Starting two days ago, I suddenly, without warning started not being able to get my Windows Mail to retreve from my email accounts. Here is the error:
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject ‘Timesheet for week of 12/7/08’, Account: ‘Darryl & Susan Joint Account’, Server: ‘smtp.att.yahoo.com’, Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
Ok, so I do computer troubleshooting and such, so I started trying to fix it.
I have shut down my AVG and my comodo firewall. Turned off windows firewall. Shut down ALL non-essitial programs running in the background. Installed/upgraded to Windows Live Mail. Veified the user info and passwords.
Online, my three accounts work just great from the web interfaces, but just not local.
I tried to see if others have had this on tech republic, but could not find a posting.
Hope someone can help out.
Thanks!
