I work in a small two man IT shop. We are outsourced IT for several small businesses in the area. Recently we had a five second power outage that took down the server in our shop, heck of a time to find out that our UPS is bad. We really don’t store any critical data on it. The server was running NetWare 5.0 and was mostly used for testing and experimentation, but there was some data on that I would like to have back.
Now when I turn it back on it POST’s then comes up and says:
Load error.
Press a key to reboot?
When I hit a key it repeats the error.
Am I out of luck or can I reinstall without loosing data? What is the best coarse of action at this point?
This is more learning experience than it is critical but it would be nice to get it back.
