Loading DLT on NetWare 411 Proliant 2500

I’m attempting to load Arcserve 6.1 on a Compaq Proliant 2500 on NetWare 4.11 SP8a. The drive is DLT 15/30. When I run the ASTART6 I get the following message:

E21111 No backup device found on host adapter [Board0]
PFC: E21104 Check the SCSI hardware

This is the first server I built and I’m having serious trouble with this part. All the connections are fine.
I’m choosing the COMPAQ Integrated 32-Bit Fat SCSI-2 (ASPI).
The SCSI board is recognized in the BIOS startup and during bootupprocess but when ARCServe loads and the Pre Flight Check starts I get the error messages above.
I have another server with the same Arcserve level and updates and it works fine (I didn’t build it).
HELP!!!
