Logging out of a samba server from windows

by msrk4 . Updated 18 years, 5 months ago

When I log into my samba server from my Windows XP machine under my user name and passwd my personal files are veiwable. The problem I have is if another user needs to log into the server from the same pc I’m still logged in. I usally log in through the web browser \\sambaserve\user instead of mapping a drive to the server. How do I log out? Usally I go into the cmd and use the “net use” command to kill the server connection. There has to be a better way.
