Logon Privileges

I am interested in finding literature in internet that illustrates how to change logon privileges for users and the differences in this procedure between NT 4.0, 3.0, Windows 2000 Professional, and windows XP. Specifically, how to add, remove, or modify which users or groups can access (Logon) a remote computer.
