Logon Scripts in Group Policy

by marius . Updated 19 years ago

I have a client who wants to specify a backup location (secondary) for the logon scripts that runs on his domain. This is so that users will still be able to logon and receive their scripts even if the main location\server goes down.

The server holding the scripts is only a member server on the domain. Domain operations is allready taken care of as far as redundancy is concerned.

Question is – will the group policy automatically fail-over to the second entry in the list if the 1st server is unavailable?
