Logon scripts problem

I’m running Win2K server as a D.C and my clients is running on Win95 and Win98.
I’m creating logon script file which is a batch file and has placed in the
correct path which is systemroot/system32/repl/import/script.
But unfortunately my Windows clients still cannot execute the batch file.I’ve done the same way with my Windows NT domain and it works but not for my Win2k server.My clients
logon into the Win2k domain.
Please advise.
