Looking 4 best surround-sound receiver

I am looking for owner’s comments on how they rate their surround sound receiver. I am looking at the top-of-the line models from Yamaha, Denon, and Onkyo. Are you happy with your results. What bells and whistles do you find that you never use, and which ones you couldn’t live without, and why?
