Losing Files

I have a client that is losing Word processing and Spreadsheet files.
I tried Roaming Profiles then dumped them for certain reasons.
I wonder if there is something behind the switch back that is causing this.

I tried searching the server where the files are supposed to be and also the local workstation with no luck. It is as though the files went into the Null bin..

Any help would be appreciated.
