Lotus Notes/1Gig NIC Card/Slow Network

I changed swapped my NIC from a 3Com 10/100 to a 1Gig because of our Switch UPgrade. The card loaded fine on the OS side and is operating correctly. However, I am getting an error on the Domino Server that the Notes.ini file is not configured correctly. The error states that: Error on Listen function: NETBIOS unit/lana number specified in NOTES.INI is not valid on this system or a netowrk is not started.

Also: Listener task for LAN0ip is suspending for 20 seconds due to listen errors.

I am assuming there is a setting within Notes to be able to handle the 1gig NIC but I do not know where it is. My 100mbps users cannot even log into the system because it times out.
