lpq status says ready,but printer’s still printing

Hi all,it’s always good to be here.can anyone assist me with my lprm command.I have killed a printing job using the command “lprm -Pprintername -“.The printer never stooped printing until today.Is there anything else that I still have to do.This printer is also connected to pick.So this jobs are printing from and they’re ages old.I thank you in advance.
