MAC Binding in Superscope in DHCP Server

by opi045 . Updated 17 years, 5 months ago

Hi,
I want a Superscope scenerio where I have 2 Networks for example 192.168.1.0/24 and 192.168.2.0/24. Now I want to reserve an IP (MAC Binding) from the 1st block lets say 192.168.1.10/32.

Is it possible in superscope scenerio that the user when go to the 192.168.2.0/24 block then he would still be able to get his reserved IP 192.168.1.10/32?

If this is not possible in Superscope scenerio then is there any other mechanism in DHCP Server to get the desired reserved IP when the user move to any DHCP network segment.

Thanks in advance.

Adnan
