Mac Users – Verizon FIOS and Apple Remote Desktop

I just came home with Apple Remote Desktop installed on my G4 powerbook from my new job and cannot get it to work with my Verizon FIOS account. I’m the only Verizon user in the office, everyone else is Comcast and have no experience with this.

Got an ActionTec Router which I’ve mapped to port 3389 for both TCP & UDP, but no joy.

I can connect thru VPN (PPTP) to the server, but Remote Desktop doesn’t connect to the IP address.

Anyone have any ideas?
