Macintosh file share with cisco switches

I have a problem seeing all file sharing macs and all network printers in the mac chooser.
There are combinations of imacs, G3’s & etc, running mainly os9.
The Network has 3 cisco 5500 switches with 5 -48 port modules in the switches. It is in a School. Is there a way to configure the switches so that all printers show up in the chooser (without sporadic
printers showing up and seeing all the file sharing machines. It has to be the switch.
Any suggestions?
