Malwarebytes: I am seeking recommendation

Hello I am writing from North America. I am a long term MacBook user using the current OS, current model number as of 4/8/20.

I am seeking information on Malwarebytes to use, other than what is recommended in AppStore. I believe these changed since the last time I checked so I am looking for something more comprehensive.
