My company has recently acquired software from a third party vendor. They are hosting the application on their servers when you intially log in you recieved a windows prompt requiring you to authenticate against the server. Once done you can log into the application without problems.
My concern is that once users have the server authentication login details they can access the site from anywhere when they should only be able to do so at work. Is there some group policy i can apply to users where i can carry out the inital authentication process without them having to use any login details so they can go straight through to the application.
The only solution i could think of was to ask the third party vendor to restrict access via their firewall so only our public ip is able to get through. Although i’m curious to investigate an altrenative solution.
