Mandatory profiles in win2k domain

I am trying to create a mandatory profile for a couple hundred of users. I have XP client and Win2k server. I have tried creating a profile on local machine and then coping back to the server as defined in MKBA 323368 to no avail. Nothing remains constant in the profile when logging on as another mandatory user. I need at least printers, homepage and desktop to be identical.
Any Ideas?
