Mapped drives appear disconnected – Server 2003

Whenever I restart my server, it says that the mapped drives are disconnected. However, they aren’t–when I double-click on one, I can access all the files just fine.

I also VPN into this server and can’t access the drive until I double-click it within Server 2003.

What causes this and how can I fix it?
