Mapped drives not holding;Error – 886f.

Upon logging into Novell Client 4.9 SP2 on district network (Microsoft server 2000), unable to map drives to individual drives and network drives. Error code 886f is displayed after each drive mapping attempt. Using Zen 3.x. This is arbitrary and not just on the same machine repeatedly.
Any history and/or suggestions.
