Mapped network drives failed

Just recently i’ve been trying to connect to my mapped network drives on server 2003, and i’m failing
Supprisingly i can connect to the server remotely, but when i click START—>RUN—>\\ and type in the name of my server or ip addresss
i get a network path not found error.
What could be the problem
