Mapping Drives-Novell Client To XP PC’s

I am trying to map a drive from a laptop running XP Pro with Novell’s client 4.91 to an XP PC not running any novell client. It’s a company machine, so there may be group policies or registry edits at play here. I am logging into the workstation, not the network. Regardless of how I try it, I still get the “Network Path Not Found….” message. Both machines are on the same subnet, and I can ping both ways. I’ve created entries into the HOSTS & LMHOSTS files for the XP laptop running the novell client with no luck. Any suggestions. Thanks.
