Mapping drives on VM Windows server 2003

I am having a problem mapping drives to a Windows server, setup as a file server only, running under VMware. The drive is setup as a NAS. I can ping, the address, RDT to the server, but cannot map any drive. The E$ with a share under it, nothing, just invalid path.
Users are using Windows XP.

What do you think?
