mapping lpt1 by net use command in xp

i have windows environment.my client computers were using win2000 i have now winxp clients also .clients use
“net use lpt1: \\servername\sharename ”
command for mapping lpt1 port for dos printing .clients with 2000 are successfully map the the port but xp clients are failed .xp require the administrator rights.but i do’nt want to assign administrator rights to every user.
please help me to solve the problem
