Mapping LPT1 in Windows 2003 Server

I have a Windows 2003 server network with XP pro clients. I need that a group of users can map a network printer to the LPT1 and also a directory to be mapped to a F: drive to run an MSDOs based application.

I tried solve the problem adding a login script to the group, but I only got to map the directory but not the LPT1, because the server ask for an user and a password and does not work. The user are restricted in the local PC as standard users.

Have any of you an solution to make this work without extend the privileges of the users in the local machine to administrators.
