ME Forces modem irq and com port

I have an hp xe783 with ME installed. But, I have a
program that requires the modem to be installed on
com 2 with respective irq and base. No matter how I
try I cannot get ME to unforce the modem wdm enumerator and get modem to go to com 2. Any Ideas?
