memory issue???

I have a client who is experiencing the following problem.

Her bookkeeper work on a W95 desktop 266MHz, 128MB RAM. She is using Quick books and Excel 97. There are three reports she exports from QB to Excel. When she does the export, the computer freezes. Windows resource meter goes from green to yellow to red. when she does the same operation on a similarly equipped laptop there is no problem. There are not a lot of extraenous programs on either machine. They are both running Norton AV but I get the same results even with the NAV auto-protect disabled.
