Message display to Terminal Services Clients on Windows Server 2000

by skone . Updated 17 years, 11 months ago

Hi,

I’ve recently set up MYOB on a Win Server 2000 so that users can use terminal services to access MYOB and run the program locally.

I would like to encourage users to use the log off command instead of just disconnecting the session as this is causing some problems with MYOB.

Also, i do not want to configure terminal service to delete the session after a specific time as this also causes MYOB errors.

Is there a way to:

1. Log off users ‘gracefully’ after a certain amount of time with terminal services?
2. display a message to users on log in that tells them to use the log off short cut/command when they are done?

thanks heaps.
