metaframe 1.8 pre xp

remote site has ICA and citrix program neigborhood.
Unable to connect to the main site, getting mutiple error msgs. Getting protocol errors and also another error msg saying metaframe server browser unable to connect? We are working on NT server and a win2k wkstat. Any possible soulutions
