metro pcs to cingular 8525

I have a metro pcs and i have a disconected cingular 8525 that i would like to put my metro phone number on the 8525.do you know how to do this.Also if that is done how do i use it as a port for the internet on my laptop.If not how do i use my metro pcs motorola as a port.
