Microsoft DNS Problem (Interface)

Why is Microsoft Windows Server 2003 determined to put an entry in the DNS for each interface on the server it resides? In the TCP/IP settings for the interface under the DNS tab I have “Register this connection’s addresses in DNS” disabled so it shouldn’t be adding it in the DNS, yet it continues to put up. Does anyone have any idea why this continues to happen????
