Not sure the exact lifespan Microsoft, Intel, Cisco and the lot are placing on software and hardware, [I know some government agencies get new equipment every 3 years. The wife works for NASA and they get new stuff every 3 years], but it seems that if business can’t afford to upgrade Microsoft will finance it.
